Kirsty Moore
Kirsty is a qualified clinical psychologist with a passion for people and extensive experience in the provision on evidence-based psychological therapies.
Kirsty holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Pharmacology), a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, a Graduate Diploma in Education, a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis.
Kirsty has a strong interest in working with adults in the areas of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, grief and loss, relationships and family conflict.

Skills and Experience
Kirsty has proficiency and experience in a variety of therapeutic techniques including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), clinical hypnosis, systemic family therapy, and mindfulness. She has the ability to relate to a wide range of people of all ages. Kirsty is passionate about people and her work, and she is dedicated to acting in the best interests of her clients while maintaining confidentiality. Kirsty also recognises and values the unique rewards and challenges of living in a rural community. Kirsty has appeared in "The Health Scoop" publication and on ABC Radio promoting rural communities and raising awareness of their unique needs.
Kirsty maintains ongoing professional development. Her additional training includes clinical hypnosis, PTSD treatment, eating disorder workshops, intensive ACT workshops with Russ Harris and other instructors, Life Story work, trauma-informed therapy, CBT Masterclass with Christine Padesky, working with bereaved children and adolescents with Dr Leslie Balmer, and training in the national perinatal depression initiative.

Certificates and Memberships
In addition to her professional qualifications, Kirsty is registered as a clinical psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She holds membership with the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and the South Australian Society of Hypnosis (SASH). Kirsty was also invited to the Golden Key International Honour Society for her academic contributions. In 2012, Kirsty was awarded the national APS Student Prize in the field of Clinical Psychology.
International publications
Kirsty's research investigating the relationship between child sleep problems and parental depression was published in the December 2012 edition of the international Journal of Child and Family Studies. In November 2014, Kirsty's research exploring the use of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy in a chronic pain setting was published in Mindfulness Journal.
