​Skills and Experience

Stacey is a registered and practicing psychologist with Clinical Endorsement and comes with vast experience working across various community mental health settings. Stacey has a strong interest in working with adults in the areas of mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders including borderline personality disorder, grief and loss, sexuality, relationship, attachment and trauma issues.

Stacey is extensively trained and experienced in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). Stacey draws on different aspects of these therapies in her work.

Therapy style

Stacey views therapy as a space for self-understanding and as a place where personal transformation can take place. Her approach is relaxed and flexible and suited to the individual needs of each person and encompasses a range of evidence-based modalities. Stacey lives within the Barossa Valley and will work with you with an understanding of the complexities of this unique community.

Qualifications

Stacey is a registered Psychologist with the South Australia Psychologist Board and AHPRA. She maintains clinical endorsement with AHPRA and is a board approved psychology supervisor.

Throughout her career Stacey has participated in many forms of continued professional development to keep up to date with the latest evidence-based practice. These have included training in ACT, CBT, DBT, Schema Therapy, and complex trauma.
